Seeing Seabirds (and more!)

October 21 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Coordinating citizen science projects such as the Christmas Bird Count and Coastal Waterbird Survey is one of PIFN’s most important mandates, but almost everyone struggles with those hard-to-identify gulls and other seabirds. As we head into “count season”, we’re pleased to have Bird Studies Canada’s Karen Devitt stay over her Friday evening talk to lead a guided walk to Brooks Point. Limited to 15 participants with priority to PIFN members. Please register at pifn@shaw.ca and indicate whether you are a member. Non-members will be waitlisted. No charge.
